So Meta decided to suspend my Instagram account on January 25, claiming that my account had violated community standards. Which standards? Who knows? They won’t say, and basically give no recourse to unsuspend the account. I got no notification, just happened to open the app to see the latest posts. I post a couple of times a year, stuff like my Duolingo streak and travel or cat pictures. My last post on December 30 was of a carbon dioxide meter reading in my house. Scary stuff!
Oh well. You can bet I won’t bother to set up a new account. It’s just a distraction anyways, and like Facebook, the feed has turned into primarily advertisements and “suggested” bullcrap.
